Art inspired by a student at Costa Rica International School back in the decade 2010. This student overcame challenges in two countries. She loved listening to stories, but when the letters on the page seemed to dance around, it was hard to find the words to explain how challenging reading seemed to be for her in comparison to her third-grade peers.
Proceeds from purchasing this piece will go to furthering the education of students who find traditionally sufficient learning pathways rather challenging. Tutors will use this money to pay for one multi-session service to a child needing help with their schoolwork.
